World Class Stress-Free Entertainment for Children
Children's Magic is one of my fortes - probably due to having three of my own! Whatever age your children are, I can give them and their friends a fabulous party with
hilarious magic and games. I entertain not only the children but the adults as well!
In addition to performing at children's private parties, I perform schools, nurseries, playgroups, wedding receptions, Company Christmas shows, family get-togethers,
exhibitions, community centres, fetes, promotions and galas.
For children's parties, I offer two types of entertainment (although this can be tailored for you, to suit the audience and occasion)
The Complete Party
 This is, by far, the most popular type of
children's entertainment that I do. Probably because I do most of the work so you don't have to!
The actual party lasts for two hours which is the ideal length for all ages. You actually get me for two and a half hours as I try to arrive half an
hour early to set up and help you welcome the party goers. This is also a great opportunity for me to establish that special relationship with the host child or children.
Once the guests have arrived we play games and competitions for three quarters of an
hour. All the games are non-elimination which means that no child is ever left out. The first one is designed to bring the children together as a group and to break down
shyness and the last one is designed to send the children to your meal tables in a slow trickle rather than a big, mad rush.
In between, the children win prizes. Amazingly, by the end, they all appear to have
won the same number. How is it done, we wonder! These prizes are already in pre-prepared party bags that I supply and are given to the children at the end of the party.
After the games section, the children eat a meal. This is your department and usually lasts up to half an hour including the Birthday Cake Ceremony.
The final part of the party is the Magic Show which is described fully in the next section.
The Magic Only Party
All are welcome to sit and watch James the Magician's special show which always generates fun and laughter within a few seconds of starting. Throughout the show,
children are invited up to help with the tricks and at the end, the host child or children usually dress up, use special magic wands to create their own extra presents, receive
an exclusive badge and Certificate telling the world that they are now members of the very select James' Magic Club and finally produce my bunny rabbit, Nibbles.
The party ends with another heartfelt rendering of "Happy Birthday" or "Jingle Bells" or
whatever is appropriate and everyone who wants to can pet the rabbit.
Older Children
All games, competitions and the magic itself is designed for the age group of your child
and your older children don't have to be left out as I can entertain them as well.
Plate-spinning and Harry Potter quizzes are some of the challenges on offer and my Young Person's Mystery Show offers more grown up magic, often performed right under
their noses, to test their growing incredulity. Of course, I also offer Harry Potter Parties and my Derren Brown-style Mind Reading Show is very popular with ten year olds and above.
Finally, I can offer a Mini Disco with flashing lights and a bubble machine for the 'divas' in your family.
These fun events can take place anywhere from a palace to a shack, but usually occur in a local hall or your own living room.
You can rely on me completely because:
I bring everything I need
I have Public Liability Insurance of up to £5 million
I have the fully Extended CRB police check
My car is in good condition and constantly maintained
I have satellite navigation which means that I will always find you on time
